If a big event is happening on South Padre Island, chances are it is either on the beach, or at the South Padre Island Convention Center. For large events, the Center will help you plan for housing, transportation, and other necessary amenities. The Center has 45,000 square feet (4180 square meters) of meeting space and the parking lot has room for 500 cars.
